Hi, I'm from the Philippines..I am new to this forum and i do not know about the rules or anything else..
I want to forward port 80 of my DVR CCTV so that i can access it remotely via web... but the Prolink H5004N 1t1r model has no portforwarding option.. the only option i saw in the Router Features is the Virtual server option.. and already test this option to forward port 80 to my local ip.. but when i access my internet ip:80 it goes to the Home page of the Router..
Is there any tutorial on how to portforward using this router?
I already test those ports at youcanseeme.org if the ports i need is blocked by my ISP.
thank you and i appreciate all comments..

hi nueeve
just go to ADVANCE then click ROUTER FEATURES then on your left part of the browser click DMZ.
under DMZ Host: click ENABLE
then do to Command Prompt and type ipconfig /all
after getting your ipv4 address , put the ipv4 address in the DMZ Host IP Address: and click APPLY, then on the lower left part of the screen, click SAVE.
let me know if there is anything else

Hi there everyone, i'm new here and i'm from the philippines. Would be glad to hear from you. I have a problem, we have a windows server 2008 and i need it to portforward to be able toaccess it over the net.
first problem: when i change my router to Prolink H5004N, i cannot access now the server from the wan ip everytime i'm out of the house.my router before was linksys E1000.
2nd problem: can anyone help me access my server aside from the WAN IP provided by globe? like a 3rd party software to access it aside from WAN IP.

Access it how? With what? You need to do "port forwarding" on your edge firewall that is doing NAT. Forward the ports from the public IP to the private internal IP of your server. Only the minimum port necessary for the remote access to your server..such as port 3389 tcp if using RDP.
