New dog! 9 month's old.
Previous owners asked there landlord if they could have a dog. he gave the go ahead. 9 month's later found out it was a pit and flipped out. They heard thru a friend of a friend we where in the market for a new dog and knew we had the room, time and money to take care of it properly. So they contacted us. We had a few visits with and and loved him. Plus he was in a very small house with no yard. We have a huge yard, a park on our street, the beach at the end of our street. tons of toys for him ( he had none) he seems happy and has not shown any signs of missing his old owners (sharing pics with them thru photo stream)
He has had no training and pretty much did what he wanted when he wanted. Very very mouthy. So it's defiantly a learning process for him and us both. But he already understands after just 1 day that my office and the GF's office is off limits and he stays at the door way when we walk in there.
He pulls hard on the leash, but no issues off the leash with running off. He starts classes in 2 weeks to socialize and learn some more general commands like down, stay and stuff!
He needs some work, but its not his fault and we have the time and patience for it.
I'm happy to have him. Cats are not. Named him Koopa (as in Koopa Troopa)

Cute pup...have fun with him! Pits are so much fun. Strong willed ...so make sure you let him know who is boss. High energy dogs...so give him lots of walks and runs. At the end of the day...very loyal and faithful.

Fun fact, Koopa means poop in Polish. Makes the Mario games a bit different in description in Poland.

It's amazing how different, more approachable they look when their ears aren't cropped! Great looking dog. My bro has an American Staffordshire Terrier and he's the nicest dog around!
