My last one, a crappy little kMart job, lasted about a year but died quite a while ago.
Lots of great photos to post but keep losing track of the Sony and Canon cords.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the links PsykoP
Looking for an external.
Cheap is good, but looking for something that won't break on me so quickly.
Last one was a Digital Concepts. Worked fine for about 6 months before a quick death.
I see a lot out there but am wondering what's worked well for you guys.

My mothers had a kingston one for a while, no trouble. And Kingston has a pretty good return policy/support.

Had good luck with iogear, transcend, ...just stay away from those rosewill el cheapos that are popping up everywhere.

Any more expensive ones that are well made?
Regardless of brand everything I'm reading is that most work fine for about a month before becoming toast.
Would rather pay a bit more for something I'll get a few years out of.

I buy Rosewill products all of the time and have NEVER had a problem.

As long as it lasts, I don't care what brand it is.
