I’m trying to find out more about
Acurite or
Oregon Scientific.

I think i posted a thread about getting one of the Oregon Scientific's like you posted a whiel back but I never pulled the trigger. I think you can take courses to be a Official weather spotter and get access to better equipment so I was waiting on that possible direction. I want wireless stuff but something that is easy to fix and a lifetime warranty on each part.

I don't think I can afford a top of the line one, I'd like to have a windspeed indicator though. I don't have any want to be an official weather spotter either.

I've got the base oregon scientific setup (wireless tippy-cup rain gauge and thermometer), and it's performed great over the 5 or so years I've had it. The rain gauge is in the middle of my yard dealing with the arizona sun and monsoon hail-- no problems with it ever. I just replace the batteries yearly.

I guess the O.S. is the one I’ll go with. I had the Acurite and the outside temperature sensor died within a year.

If you are rreally bothered about these affects, get your self 9 gallons of mercury? Why 9 gallons? If you have a wife and children(twins better) 36
If I PM you my address, will you send me some of the drugs you’re on? From some of your post they appear good.
