Laptop suddenly has no net access (Win7)

My aunt's laptop that accesses my router for the net can't get online. It says's its connected but Firefox and Explorer can't connect tot he net. They aren't working in offline mode. I uninstalled the adapters in device manager and on my PC I downloaded the new drivers on a flash drive and installed them on her laptop and still nothing.
In the Network Connections screen, there is the Local Area Connectoin that says a network cable is unplugged. No matter what i do with that, it wont fix. To the right of that it says Wireless Network Connection to my network with a full signal.
