I too went and got a new SB6120 a while back, the download speeds never changed much but the upload did which is more important to me.
*Notice the distance of this test just to show how much better it is vs a closer location.
I think the modem takes advantage of what 2.0 is offering more than the others are but unless the ISP is pushing 3.0 with a certain package it doesn't reflect true numbers.

DOCSIS 2 still here.
Actually surprised how well the numbers held out over the distance.

2x streets over to where I live now....AT&T U-Verse is available. That's where the house I'm in the process of buying is.

Yeah baby...cant' wait to ditch my slow poke cable ISP with their max speed of 7/768. Hello U-Verse steady (non-burst) 24/3

WTF. When I called and asked what the Uverse speeds were I was told a max of 10/1.

Right from AT&T's website....when you build/customize your own package (because I don't need the triple play w/phone..just TV/internet)
Available speeds
3 (Pro), 6 (Elite), 12 (Max), 18 (Max Plus), and 24 (Max Turbo)
Prices...35, 40, 45, 55, and $64/month respectively.

Wow, sales guy was way off then, told me they had only 2 packages, 3/0.5 and 10/1.

I'm putting order in for Comcasts 50/10 package for an upgrade at a client of mine. Can't wait to see that puppy fly...I'm curious of they have PowerBoost on top of that...cuz 50/10 is the sustained speeds.

While those speeds are sweet, the 250GB monthly cap could get swallowed up pretty darn fast! Download 40 or so HD movies and you're done. I personally don't download much, but I know a whole lot of folks do.
I have a nice connection here at the headend!

You should see mid 40s and 8s.

Those are nice speeds. I'll hit the 250 gig limit with this client within 3x days...because I'm putting that in place to I can host a NAS box at our office and have them do daily offsite copies of their 100+ gigs of backup data.
However, since it's a Business account... no caps.

I've got the 20/4 package now and that's raw with no Powerboost. My tests sustain that pretty close cept the upload should be a little bit more.

About 190 bucks per month...I think that's an awesome price for all that bandwidth. With a business account..no caps, no blocked ports so you can run whatever services you want, block of 5x static IPs, excellent support...etc. That's incredible.
