Battlefield 2 v1.50 Patch released!

Yep you got it..the 1.50 patch was released full today with EF and AF booster packs included for FREE. I've got links for download below along with a torrent which seems to be the fastest.

I've played it and it seems to be ok, the prone deviation was what I worried about most but you can't really tell much and I usually stand standing and running when I'm shooting anyway. I've not had a chance to check out air maps yet but if they kept that last beta the same with the J10 change it will kill any desire to wanna fly in it again.

sweet, does this just install over top the 1.50 beta that i have been running ?

lol if you clicked the link I posted you would find the answer to that question
But to really answer it now, no you need to uninstall the game and reinstall as it won't patch over a existing beta of 1.50

i updated the game from the beta version and it runs just fine, just thought i would let ya'll know.
there are some cool new maps also

It was advised by DICE not to install over a existing beta....for what reason I don't know but I would imagin there were issues that you may not have experienced yet.
As for the new maps..well they are not all new...most are Euro Forces and Armored Fury maps which have been out for a while. I paid for AF but didn't get EF booster cause it didn't look all that great but rather disappointed they won't give me my 10$ back since its now free but ohh well. The only true new map is Operation Blue Pearl... it was requested several times by many many people to add community maps but DICE's excuse was they pay Gamespy to track each and it would be expensive to add them...but I call BS on that from a nearly 4 year old game with more advanced hardware/software/bandwidth etc...
