A cat came into our yard and moaned to get in . Its cold but not bitterly cold . I love animals but cats .... no . A roommate in a previousflat asked if she could bring a cat . To my dismay afterwards , I said yes . Now she didn't clean after it , had a cardbord box !! for it to litter in using soil !! in her room !! which smelled !! and did not potty train it !! and I had too clean up after it cause she did not !! and my flat smelled like catpiss !! so I love animals but have a hard time letting the cat in although I feel sorry for it , but it is well looked after and definately have a home close by .
I chased it off closed the door and hope it goes away
What would you have done

Not fond of cats myself....would not have let it in, once they come in...it's a habit..they'll be at your door all the time.

Cats are cool, but only outside. Not inside. Years ago a friend’s mom trained her cats to use the toilet like a person. But their nubby little cat fingers still couldn’t flush the toilet. That was a nasty sight and smell.
I have a few feral cats outside but they never step foot inside, no matter how cold it is. That’s probably why God gave them a fur coat.

Why do I not have a hard time envisioning you eating cat balls for breakfast?

I did once when i was a kid, this white cat came around and i gave it milk by the front door, it kept coming back, and back and back and back... I learned my lesson after that

I like them a lot ! as a matter of fact,I love them! I like to be with it as often as I can ! I say keep 'em,chase 'em ! whatever ! they are good for many activities ! I think they're great !I think every guy should have one, love it,make it happy, pet it,caress it ,etc.etc.

you need to trim their hair once in a while, and keep it clean !you know,so it doesn't stink !

WTF does this have to do with the guys question??? Lookin for attention again?
I would have chased it off cause it may have been someone elses cat....also remember to smack your car hood or honk horn before starting in the morning in case it took refuge under the hood.

With newer cars that’s no big deal. The fans are controlled by an electronic thermostat and by the time the fan comes on hopefully the cat is out of there. My neighbor did have a really old Mustang where the fan is direct drive. A kitten climbed under the hood by the radiator to keep warm. That kitten made a strange ass noise and a big ass mess under there.
It really is good advice though.

yeah its not so much as the fans..but the belts is what tears them up most if you don't make some noise to get them out of it.

Cats suck... all they do is lay around during the day and meow and make noise at night. Did I mention they have claws?

And tear the sh-t out of your furnature..climb up drapes and tear the sh-t out of them. we got 2 cats once (against Chris's opinion we didn't). they were male and before we had them fixed they had sprayed all over the house..DISGUSTING SMELL!!! years later we found things that still had the odor.
Although kittens are the cutest thing..never, ever again!!!!

May the cat eat you and the devil eat the cat.
Just one of those lovely Irish sayings.
