Whenever I run BF2 I get a black screen which dissapears in like 2 seconds. and then nothing happens.

I checked the forums to see if it could be video card problems but the game specifications read:

-Windows XP
-System Memory : 512
-Processor Speed 1700Mhz (1.7Ghz)
-Direct X 9.0
-Display Memory : 128

All I which I have... so what could be the problem?

And if you must know, this is what my system specs are using EAsy info:

-Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 (Build 2600)
-512 System Memory
-2.9Ghz Pentium 4 Processor
-DX 9.0
-Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family
-128 Display Memory

There is no hurry for an answer since I'm playing C&C Generals, but thanks for whomever is willing to help! :)

Appears as if your running onboard video... therefore you can't run the game.

You need to put in a video card that will support the game and they are rather cheap enough to get one that will run it.

DirectX compatible 128 MB graphics card, Radeon 8500 or GeForce FX 5700
it says graphics card....and you don't have one, its built into the motherboard so it won't work.
