Weird USB port issue

My Asus P4P800 came with 4 back USB ports.
Always worked fine.
This past weekend I swapped power supplies and video cards out.
Finally got what should have been straight forward enough to work.
Now I have 1 USB port that doesn't work when the computer is booted. Remove and replace the USB plug and it works fine until the next reboot.
Any ideas? Didn't mess with any of the inner USB connections and if I nudged something accidentally seems like it should either not work regardless of reseating the plug or work occasionally.
Thanks

Everything seems to be plugged in correctly, plug/play on auto
Tried updating all USB drivers but nothing could be updated at all from current version.

Sounds like something got whacked with a bit of static when you were mucking about inside.
Try resetting BIOS to defaults
Try flashing BIOS to the latest //insert proper precaution
Try ensuring it's enabled in USB 2 mode in the BIOS
Double check that your motherboard is secured to the case, standoffs aren't loose, rear plate is properly seated and contacts are on the peripherals of your motherboards inputs.

one of the pins are not bend up on the plastic guide are they?
Otherwise I'd say the board has gone bad in that one area causing them not to work in that case either replace the board or put in a PCI USB card like shinobi said.

not regarding the previous issue, but i have a usb port problem. and i dont really know anything about computers :X but if i boot my computer with anything in my usb ports it doesnt go past the initial boot screen.. and my two front ports dont work, but i assume they were just never connected.. dont know anything about how to connect them if i wanted to either.

really matt? you couldnt start a new thread? had to hijack?
open your case up and see if there connected, should be like 4-5 wires fromt he front of your case to the mobo, second, in your bios see if you can disable usb boot or something. name and model of the mobo would be nice

That's the weird part Sava, if the board has gone bad wouldn't the USB port not work at all?
Like I said, all I have to do is unplug that USB plug for a second and plug it back in and it works fines. What I've been meaning to do but haven't yet is try swapping the device to another port, as the other 3 seem to load fine on booting.
