pci latency is just how long the card waits before givin up resources (bandwidth) to other peripheral component interface cards.. shrug.. basically i don't know if there's a way to change it just for ur vanta (graphix card i guess tnt2)..anyway but u can change it for everything at once.. i dunno if that's a good thing though, put it too low and u get probs.. i have mine set to 32, i think it's ms but not sure.. it's in CMOS (bios setup)..if it's an OEM mobo...one u bought w/ a computer premade from gateway or hp or somethin.. i doubt u'll be able to change it

yeah, its a premade computer (gateway). i think i will just leave it be, better than causing havoc on my pc. thanks for the response.

Hmm only OLD boards let you change the PCI latency setting, maybe its time you consider upgrading/getting a new comp? hehe
