I tried last night, Burke.
I'm going to have to find the cliff notes for it. I read to Tax Incentives for Business and needed to stop to try and digest most of the wording for education.

Interesting:
SEC. 1112. ADDITIONAL ASSURANCE OF APPROPRIATE USE
OF FUNDS.
None of the funds provided by this Act may be made
available to the State of Illinois, or any agency of the
State, unless (1) the use of such funds by the State is
approved in legislation enacted by the State after the date
of the enactment of this Act, or (2) Rod R. Blagojevich
no longer holds the office of Governor of the State of Illi-
nois. The preceding sentence shall not apply to any funds
provided directly to a unit of local government (1) by a
Federal department or agency, or (2) by an established
formula from the State.

4 gambling establishment, aquarium, zoo, golf course, or

haven't read it all the way, heard on the radio that only about 12% of the funds-

will be for jobs

I'm seeing very little stimulus in this bill. Our nation needs new infrastructure and with construction jobs on the chopping block, it would make sense to support infrastructure.

Yes, where are all of these highway const. jobs, etc. that were promised?
People actually thought this bill would help them on a personal level. No, only on the corporate level. After all, that is all the US is now, a big corporation, trying to protect her assets and searching for more (oil/Iraq, Afghan/poppy).

I was curious for
your definition, not an example.
We are in agreement that disbursement to ACORN would not be a direct method (or at least tangible) of improvement.
A jobs program was promised, so let us see it.
