yeah neither team is playing anywhere like they should be or have been this season...that long dry spell I think hurts them the most. Bring on that playoff!Roody wrote:At halftime there is no way I think either of these teams are better then USC. No way in H-E-L-L.
Right now in Austin, Los Angeles and Utah there is some seriously ticked off football players.
I'm with ya man. This crap is ridiculous. Again I think Utah players and fans have the most to be upset at, but as a USC fan I just don't buy what Oklahoma and Florida has to offer. Although at this point I think the Sooners have more to offer.Sava700 wrote: Bring on that playoff!
Give me a break man...it's called 2 evenly matched teams, who has studied each other intensely...I don't see USC out there....Roody wrote:At halftime there is no way I think either of these teams are better then USC. No way in H-E-L-L.

I can't remember who but I think it was the State's Attorney General for Utah is getting ready to sue the BCS for having a monopoly. LMAORoody wrote:At halftime there is no way I think either of these teams are better then USC. No way in H-E-L-L.

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/bowls08/n ... id=3818921With the Utah attorney general investigating the bowl system for a possible antitrust violation,
No you don't and that's what's wrong with the system. The situation wasn't decided on the field and Florida is about to be National Champs, but it will be a disputed National Title because Utah, Texas and USC all had the same record or in Utah's case a better one. Each year it seems like the BCS gets sillier. This year we had 5 teams with 1 loss and 1 with no losses heading into their bowl game. Yet somehow it's decided that 2 of those teams are better then the other 4 because someone merely says so? It should have been decided on the field.fastchevy wrote:Give me a break man...it's called 2 evenly matched teams, who has studied each other intensely...I don't see USC out there....
well I would say Florida #1, Utah #2 and USC #3 with OU dropping to #4 or maybe lower.fastchevy wrote:Awesome game....FU just was able to figure OU out in the later part of the game.
That was a #1 vs #2 game for sure![]()
Come tomorrow it definitely won't be a #1 and #2 game. I have a ton of respect for the Oklahoma program and the UF program it's just irritating to see how this played out. Actually correct that. It's irritating to see how it didn't play out.Sava700 wrote:well I would say Florida #1, Utah #2 and USC #3 with OU dropping to #4 or maybe lower.

That were effective at stopping each other, that's what happens man. Did you honestly expect one team to completely dominate the other?Roody wrote:Come tomorrow it definitely won't be a #1 and #2 game. Undefeated against 3 ranked teams this year that's who. As for the polls tomorrow Sava is probably right. It will likely befastchevy wrote:
Sure thing man..keep telling yourself that
You guys are so butthurt over Utah, there is a formula and in this case the formula was pretty damn accurate. Utah would have got stomped into oblivion by any of the teams you mentioned. Yeah their undefeated, against who??
Not at all. I do however know the system has become a farce when you don't even decide the champion on the field and instead you decide it on a piece of paper.fastchevy wrote:That were effective at stopping each other, that's what happens man. Oh..3 ranked teams...well then I take it backRoody wrote:Undefeated against 3 ranked teams this year that's who. As for the polls tomorrow Sava is probably right. It will likely be
1. Florida
2. Utah
3. USC
4. Oklahoma
5. Alabama.
I am guessing you watched Utah kick the crap out of Alabama. If you don't think in 1 game that Utah could pull a similiar upset then I am surprised and I imagine you know it could definitely happen.fastchevy wrote:Oh..3 ranked teams...well then I take it back![]()
I think many of Utah's wins were um upsets if that's what you call themRoody wrote:I am guessing you watched Utah kick the crap out of Alabama. If you don't think in 1 game that Utah could pull a similiar upset then I am surprised and I imagine you know it could definitely happen.![]()
Hey I don't disagree with that. Facts are even if they were all upsets they still had more upsets then anyone else had straight up wins.fastchevy wrote:I think many of Utah's wins were um upsets if that's what you call them
Sorry, just IMHO
i guess we will never know.Roody wrote:At halftime there is no way I think either of these teams are better then USC. No way in H-E-L-L.

i think that is a fair statementfastchevy wrote:Give me a break man...it's called 2 evenly matched teams, who has studied each other intensely...I don't see USC out there....
there is not next year for you. QB is outta there.tr87526 wrote:4 and out!!!???? What was with that last play?? I really thought OU could win this game.
Oh well there's next year.
FLA outworked them...period.fastchevy wrote:Awesome game....FU just was able to figure OU out in the later part of the game.

ahhhhhhhhhh, but that's why they play the game.horsemen_ wrote:well bama gave fu more the ou did and utah killed bama so who to say they would not beat uf
Looks like its true too..although I disagree with alot of the top 25 I think the top5 is about right.fastchevy wrote:

Not much will happen with the Utah lawsuit.
