They did a lot of filming of us on the line building the Osprey ...not quite sure what show they were filming for, but whatever it was, it's supposed to be on in the spring sometime...

They had several different cameras, including one they had mounted on to an RC car that they sped around the plant floor :rotfl: They filmed us putting a wing onto a fuselage plus a few other things...should be pretty cool to see when the finished show comes on...

Awesome! My uncle works in the General Dynamics tank plant in my city and he will be a BIG part of an upcoming show as he's a tank driver/tester/instructor that took the host around the grounds in one of the M1A2's.

SWEET!!

You make it on camera?

Thanks :) It's rare to see Tony Dungy fired up like that, so I just had to make an AV of it ;)

As soon as an air date becomes available, I'll post it :)

Were you wearing your pink "Vote for Palin" t-shirt?

:D

Make sure you let us know when the show will air. I have the Discovery channel on SAT here but I believe it's the British version hosted by BBC but I still receive all the popular US programming.

How'd you know I had that shirt? ;) :D

I'm sure we'll get a heads up as soon as it's scheduled :)

That's what I'm guessing, or maybe a Modern Marvels type program...

Definitely let us know when it airs. I’m a Discovery, History, Military channel type.

Found out a little more about the program today...turns out it'll be an hour long program not just about the V-22, but about Bell Helicopter. It's hosted by one of the guys that used to do Junkyard Wars, and it sounds like it's a new (or newer) series that's in the same vein as 'Dirtiest Jobs,' where the host actually goes in and helps in the process (like here, where he helped put a wing onto an Osprey)...

Also heard that it should probably air around March of next year...

I've seen a show like this, but its on the National Geographic Channel, called "Worlds Toughest Fixes" is pretty cool, they've had to replace an airplanes pressure dome, replace an oil rigs thruster under water, etc... pretty neat show.
