Trusted & Banned IP Addresses

My McAfee Security Center's "Trusted and Banned IPs" listed, “From 192.168.1.0 To 192.168.1.255" as a Trusted IP Address, which obviously means that 192.168.1.255 is sending information to 192.168.1.0.

I googled the IP addresses and found an old forum thread stating, "192.168.1.255 is your computers sending local broadcasts," so I removed “From 192.168.1.0 To 192.168.1.255" from my Trusted IP Address.

Is it possible that someone was tracking my computer usage (i.e. websites, word documents, etc.) by sending information from 192.168.1.0 to 192.168.1.255?

Just for anyone who finds this thread on a web search...

The original poster didn't understand what was going on. McAffee's Security Center was really saying, "All broadcasts on the local network, 192.168.1.x, are to be considered trusted." This is a good thing and is something that should be allowed in all normal circumstances, and nobody can or would be tracking your computer usage on the local network.
