Located about 6 miles from Statesboro, GA and a little over 50 from Savannah, GA the little burg of Hopeulikit, and others of small communities like it, has been officially wiped off the map by the state of Georgia. The community itself is comprised of 800 acres of land named for a Big Band-era dance hall that once graced the area.
