just installed windows me and now says i have realtek nic card in device mgr instead of dlink.tried remove and each time it reinstalls same thing can't manually install my card...any ideas???thanks in advance for replies

your dlink is what is called a realtek clone. it uses realtek chips. those drivers are the correct ones and will probably work better than dlink's so it's kewl stick with it. fyi -- realteks are not FULL NICs. they were made by novell originally if i remember correctly..for inexpensive networks and were adopted by quite a few companies. they do the job and i've used one for over a year now shrug. but the drivers are correct.
