Might apply to UNLV

This year I went to school for IT, I couldn't stand it! C++ and other programming classes did NOT interest me. Plus when I do graduate I don't want to be stuck in a cubical all day on the computer.

My father is very successful and he went to UNLV, out of no where he asked me if I wanted to go there. I think I might follow in his footsteps and change my major to Tourism and Convention Administration, which hopefully I can travel and meet people (which I want to do)

Anyone went to this school or knew someone who did?

School was ok,but it's right next to the strip, and traffic is a nightmare. Plus all of the close housing is high crime areas. If you go there seriously look at all of your options on apartments. Some look ok during the day, but at night you'll get jacked.

On the bright side you can get good evening weekend employment at the casinos if you don't gamble away your paycheck.

Oh yeah, and it's hot.

Depends what you do. I'm not stuck in a room all day.

I cover 4 floors in 1 building.
