music question

Let me start by saying I normally do not have this problem. I am usually up on music. But I am at my wits end trying to find this certain song. I have searched and searched to no avail. I know there are a lot of good people here that love music, so I am asking for help. Honestly I do not have much for you guys to go on. It is a fairly new song that gets played often on pop and top 40 stations. It is a female vocalist. The one part I can remember is part of the chorus and it goes something like (whoaa oh oh oh whoaa oh oh oh oh). The part in parenthesis is the only part I can remember. It is not the words them self but how they are composed. As she sings this she steps up and down octaves to give it a good meledy. I wish I knew more of the words but I have not heard it again since I started searching. I would appreciate any help you guys can give. If you think it is it or even if you are not for sure, please just provide a title. I will find it and see if is what I have been looking for. And honestly since I moved back to very rural Louisiana, I have lost all options of high speed. Moved from DFW with 15 meg down to now maybe being able to connect at 26 kbps. It is a nightmare, so I have little resources to track down songs like I could with my old high speed connection.

Again I appreciate any help you guys can give.

Have you recently heard it on a radio station? If so you may be able to check their playlist for any titles/artists that look plausible.

That was the first thing I did. And none of the playlist on the stations I have heard it own. Which is kinda odd because I seem to hear it fairly often but for some reason can not remember the rest of the lyrics. And again since I have been looking of course I have not heard it on the radio again.
