Counting myself, this is the third report of this. I tried everything I knew of and finally just reinstalled ME. It corrected mine and caused no other problems. Now before you do this you must realize this might not work. This should be done when all else fails and you want to try one more thing before a format.......

Glad you got it up and running. Unfortunately when I tried the same with W/ME it didn`t work. I`m glad someone had better luck than I did !

Heh...Yeah Steve... Other than that weird anomaly, ME seems pretty good. Running it without any tweaks and it seems to be doing as well as my Win98 with the tweaks.

Moved to the Software forum.
You might want to install the newest MS Java Virtual Machine instead of reinstalling WinME.
Here's a link:

Life would be much easier if I had the source code...

Thanks Philip! Worked perfectly!

What was weird is that the button showed up for awhile and then a day later, quit working after installing ME....Which it was not
ACTUALLY ME that broke it really, but a different version of IE that came with ME.
Anyway, your suggestion worked. Thanks again.
