Internet is very slow on wireless computer.

Hello, i have the dlink dsl g604 T. I usually get around 1.2 megabytes maximum on the main computer connected directly to the router... but i get really slow speeds on the computer connected to it wirelessly???
i have tried tcpoptimizing it on both computers but this wireless one is still very SLOW!
