Bush’s Approval Rating Lower than Getting Kicked in the Balls

A recent CBS poll has President Bush’s comprehensive approval rating at 28%. He is just 4 points away from former President Nixon’s all time low of 24% and we have faith he can take that crook’s record.
To put this in context, a list of other things with a 28% approval rating included Kelly Osbourne, a wall on the Mexican border, and cottage cheese.
Things with a higher approval rating include Kevin Federline (45%), stepping in dog poo (35%), and getting kicked in the balls (41%).

True, but it really speaks for how unpopular he is. When you would prefer stepping in dog crap or getting kicked in the balls to having him be the President that's pretty extreme.

mostly democrats who would say anything to get in the white house and republicans who too afraid
the funniest thing is the president who just got elected in France...is probably more right wing then Bush ..look at how many countries are moving to the right after realizing socialism just does not work.

I think you still miss the point of the thread. In modern times Im not sure any President has been so disliked that people would rather get kicked in the balls then to have that guy in office.
Say what you want about other Presidents, but that's pretty over the top.

you know what even sadder..for supposedly a president that everyone dislikes, democrats still wont be able to get in office in 2008
how bad is that?

I forgot you didn't bother watching the last Republican debate. I'd say the Republican Party cares big time. Why?
Well since you missed it, I'll clarify. Bush was hardly mentioned by any candidate unless it was in an unfavorable light. In fact the night was mostly how much all of them were like Reagan and not like Bush.
The 2008 vote can very well follow how Americans feel about Bush and probably will to some extent.

How bad is it that people pick a president based on, and only on, whether they are republican or democrat, and not on whether they are the man for the job or not?

Democrats' 2008 electoral edge in doubt

Andrew Kohut, who heads the nonpartisan Pew polls, said the ability of the GOP front-runners to outperform their party in the surveys should give Democrats pause.
"Presidential elections basically come down to continuity versus change, and there's certainly a predisposition to change," he said.
Guiliani and McCain are both viewed as "quite different from Bush" and could have legitimate chances of winning in 2008, presuming the conservatives who dominate the GOP select either of them as the candidate, Kohut said.
Rudy is going to win!!
Remember I been predicting this for a while when 2008 comes read it and weep

Dude your a riot. That article shows that pretty much all the top Dem contenders would win against any Rep so far. LOL
The election is a long way off. I think that if Gringrich or Thompson would enter the race and either may, that Rudy's chances would drop like a spent rocket.

Neither is going to enter
Thompson wants to but he entering way too late
If republicans want to win 2008 they need to make Rudy nominee and if they do Republicans will win

It's not even close to "too late". Tell me, which state has already had a primary?

it too late because he wont catch up with fund raising, if he wants to enter and win he needs to now and not wait any longer

Well that remains to be seen. I wouldn't call it sad though..I would call it both sides for the most part having better options then what we have had the last 6 years.

that what you keep hoping..
you be surprised at what happens.
Nobody believed me 2 years ago when I predicted Hillary would be democrat nominee, everyone said no way she will even be running or even come close to winning the democrat nominee, well she is the top and no way she cant wain the democrat nominee
It is going to be Rudy vs. Hillary remember this thread

I don't need to hope man. If Rudy doesn't find a way to get the religious right vote then he will be screwed. Against Hillary he would have a shot because they dislike her even more, but against someone like Obama, Edwards or a few other Dems Rudy wouldn't get their vote.
