Have you gotten your browers working right yet. I posted in your post away to run set up from the dos side without reformatting wich will save anything in your computer. This has worked grate for me a couple of times. Just wandering if you tried it.

Heheheh , Thanx for the tips storm. I had to many corrup files and I was unable to restore them. I tried everything I could think of and everything I was reccomended to do as well, with no luck!
You gave me a lesson in restoring files and such and ways to revert back to default widows settings
I really appreciate all your help and everyone else that put time and effort into my problem
I had to reformat and re-tweak all settings, but the more i do it the more i become more familiar with it
I got my system screaming this time so it was a fair trade to reformat! I still have my 400+ d/l and I am writing a tweak for anyone on PPPoE dsl and windows 98. I have done the steps on my computer twice so I know it works and the funniest part is... I got all the info from SG! hahah I love SG!

Oh yah, the browser problem is only on SG. Weird stuff. when I use the "submit reply" or the bottom of the main forum page to advance in my posting, thats when I get the blank windows. errr weird. I have a feeling its a bug in the UBB cause its only on this UBB, thats it, just here .

Your Welcome, glad to here you got it running grate! Plus I want you to know I am not a dude ok. Not mad! Must because of the name I use. Wich is my car. I am a female. No offense taken. You have help me a lot with of few of your post. Wich I am grateful for. I have been playing with computers sense I was 15 and still learning a lot about them. Goodluck!
