TCPOptimiser Bug reports

Hi, Thanks for your program.
I run '98SE and thought i'd have a play with TCPOptimiser.
I started by backing up my current settings with the inbuilt backup feature (paranoid), but I seemed to fumble this (stoopid) as I'd already been playing, though i didn't realise it at the time.......
Anyway I just wanted to tweak the Priority settings in the Advanced section only, and did this per the recommended settings 5,6,7,8 and seemed to work ok so i surfed awhile. Later I thought things didn't seem much better or that different or possibly even a mite slower so i decided to put things back. That's when i found out my backup was no good and decided to resort to the Default Windows Settings.
Well surprised I was when my internet was now BROKEN.
No DNS no Whois no Time synchro no browsing, the only thing that still worked was pings to myself and the other machine on the internal network.
Now I started to worry that I would have to do a TCP/IP reinstall, or worse a full system restore from my last backup (lucky I have one, most people don't!).
Then I noticed that tcpo had kindly made a "First Backup" so I used that to put things right, or it seemed to.....
Everything was fine, surfing fine Time synched All Good so I thought i might try a bit more tweaking.
But now in the advanced section I see that my priority settings in Advanced ARE ALL ZEROS !!!!
Whoah I thought what did i do this time ??? Better do it again....
So back to restore from First Backup, I look in the final Confirm list and there they are: old values 0,0,0,0 new values 243,244,208,209 OK restore and reboot.....
Check settings THEY ARE ALL ZEROS !!! It said specifically it was going to change them but IT DIDN'T. The only way I could get them back was to do a Custom Settings Apply and set them manually.
So....in light of this I am wondering:
firstly, is this normal behaviour for TCPOptimiser ?
secondly, can I be sure that my other original settings were restored properly ?
Thanks for your time.
