I'm new to all this, and have done searches, unless I'm just blind , i can't find anything.

Well, I have Cincinnati Bell's Zoomtown dsl. My rated speeds are 3mbps down, and 768 kbps up. My speeds are NO WHERE near that. False advertisement? Or could tweaking improve my speeds? Here is what I got from the analyzer...

Any help would be appreciated, as to I'm lost.

Looking at your config, I'd say your pretty much optimized. It probably has to do with distance more than anything else. The further away from the phone company's CO (central office)you are, the slower your connection will be. In other words, unless you live right next door to the CO, your probably not going to achieve the maximum speeds they advertise.

I'm use to seeing 1492 for a MTU on dsl setups, dont think thats gonna help you though.

What do you get for speed and where are you testing it?

On download speeds I get about 115 kbps average. I'm advertised at 3mbps, and 768. When I do a speed test, I average about 800, and 400 ups. :-\. I did the tweak tool, and my downloads will start out around 300, and slow down to 115. Hey, atleast it helped a little, just not much. Anything else I can possibly do? Oh, and I'm coming from Northern, KY.

Your TcpWindowSize (RWIN) may have been set too large and may slow you down if you face retransmissions of data packets.

(EDIT) - Speedtests give results in kbps (kilobits per sec) while file download gives KB/s (KiloBytes per sec).
