This maxes out the budget so any alternatives need to be comparable in price.

I'll recycle my current dvd drive, cdrw drive and hard drive and will likely get the
NEC dvd writer and a raptor drive sometime down the road.
This will all go in a CoolerMaster Centurion 5 case that I already have.

This will be my first build so any buying/setup advice is appreciated.

I ended up switching out the memory to Gskill and the mo bo to a biostar tforce4 u. I also picked up an external hd to make things easier since I'll be re-using my hard drive.
