Doing Taxes yourself

Whats the best one to use, I know they sell 2 main affordable ones. I have mutual funds and income from work, thats all so I dont think I need anything fancy.

Just wish my company got our forms out quicker, always gotta wait till feb 15th.

Unless you can't read or a chronically lazy. http://www.irs.gov/ has everything you'll need to know.

I've never used any of them so I can't say either way. An CPA friend of mine has done my taxes for free for the past several years. ;)

If you don't own a home, no kids, no schooling expenses....by hand is the cheapest and really not a hassle to do.

I cant use the EZ form cuz of my mutual funds.

I always just write a bunch of numbers down, send it in and let them fix/adjust it. Can't beat free.
