How do I tell if my AMD chip is unlocked?

Its a Barton 2500 Xp, I had one in my rig that was unlocked but It burnt out and I got a warrenty replacement with the following:
AXDA2500KV4D
AQYHA0440MPMW
T123387J40017
Anyone know of any sites to check this?

I dont think its unlocked. Theres a speedstrip thing that is kinda a cheap mod to unlock it, so that might mean some bios might offer teh ability to unlock it. Some mobos have been good at offer that for certain chips.

I'm pretty sure they locked them after '03 in the 43rd week. Your chip is well in '04 so I'm pretty sure yours is locked.

Wow, I remember the mad rush to get an unlocked xp! I did manage to get one back in the day, still use it actually.

I have a shuttle mobo,(AN35 Ultra) running a 2500@3200, to be honest I do't know the stepping of my chip, i got it also awhile back OEM from newegg.
The AN35, you can get for about 50$ now.. I think i paid 60$, when i bought mine. Solid...

Ive got a mobile XP-M 2400+ (barton core) 45w (unlocked of course) that does 2.2ghz easily. Trying to sell it actually.

how much? what voltage is it @ 2.2? how hot?

Voltage at 2.2 is 1.55v (runs 1.45 stock), never got over 48c or so with a stock cooler. I'd take $45 for it.
