Hi to All

Holy Mackerel

Just to tease! 0-62mph: 2.5sec :D

Quote
"In other words, the door mirrors were generating downforce. That gives you an idea of how much of a bastard the air can be at this speed."

Holy. Hell.

That is not a car. No way in the world is that just a car. That is an accomplishment.

1.) It can go from 406 km/hr to 0 in 12 seconds.... faster than its acceleration.

I had the chance to see it in person in Berlin last year...

And it's a beauty! :thumb: :thumb:  :thumb:

Awsome, finaly a car I can run from cops in :D

Whats funny is, if you actualy got this car the fastest you could go would be 70 - 75 mph "legaly". On the highway you might get by doing 80 - 85 depending on where you live, and even thats pushing it. So sometimes it's hard for me to understand to pay so much money, have the capabilites, but you'll never use it. It's like being 80 and purchasing a condom....

Numbers? Absolutely insane. Look? Ugly as sin. I really hate how it looks, but I wouldnt care about that when im going 0-60 in less than 3 seconds. But ARGH look at the front! So damn ugly.

If you can afford the car you can afford to take it to a track. Hell you can probably afford to build a track for it. It probably is not certified to run on US roads anyway

If you ran from the cops in it, I don't think it would be that hard to figure out which of the four Americans who own one you are. Then again, going along with the theme of the first paragraph, you can probably afford to make them "forget" what kind of car it was

If you can afford the ar you can afford to take it on some tracks were you can let it loose, well, most of it.

Hi Zerohero, wee, De Plano, YARDofSTUF, mountainman & Humboldt

Zerohero
There are "Track Days" as mentioned, wherein you can go as fast as you wish. There are Drag Strips galore also. The lucky few who will own one no doubt live in Europe where they may be able to use it at speed, legally on some Highways their.

On the other hand, to simply own such a jewel is satisfaction enough for many, who appreciate such wonders of the World and can afford them.

The Front is the Old Bugatti Horseshoe Grill from years past that they are honouring. Awesome performance no matter how you look at it though.

--

De Plano
Yep it wouldn't be hard to locate an owner i wouldn't think. Great Car! :thumb:

YARDofSTUF
Though it would take some talent to Let It Loose, just Idling at any Stoplight will assure you of All the Action you'd ever desire :D

Careful!...It might Hit You Back :)

Hi poptom

It appears so poptom. Anything this astounding must by its nature be beautiful, if only to those who achieved such a level of excellence in creating something no one else has come close to before.

I wouldn't be at all embarrassed by its presence in my driveway ;)

Thanks and hope your feeling better Tom :)

Well I think it's a bit ugly as well, but to quote Car and Driver

"when you plant your right foot at 185, the Veyron's surge of power shoves you into the driver's seat about as hard as a Corvette's does at 100"

Oh at top speed its gas consumption is like 125L/100 km. So 1.25L/1Km.
