Help needed with 1000/256 pipex adsl settings.

Hi, great forum, and I've been playing with the optimiser, though I think I may have borked my settings.
Ok heres my current settings.
adsl PPPoE behind a zoomadsl router with latest firmware and ethernet adapter has latest drivers.
Pipex 1000/256
(TCP Optimizer reports my mtu as 1492 not 1460 as below)
TCP options string = 0204058c0103030001010402
MTU = 1460
MTU is not fully optimized for broadband. Consider increasing your MTU to 1500 for better throughput.
MSS = 1420
MSS is not fully optimized for broadband (although it might work well for slower connections). Consider increasing your MTU value.
Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 65535
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 65535
Note: Under Windows 9x, if you have RWIN set to any other value, and the Analyzer reports 65535 you might need to install the MS Vtcp386 fix.
For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
522560 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 8)
261280 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 4)
130640 (MSS x 46 * scale factor of 2)
65320 (MSS x 46)
bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 2621.4 kbps (327.675 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1048.56 kbps (131.07 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
Time to live left = 124 hops
TTL value is ok.
Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000 (0)
XP Pro sp2.
My max speed I've got in a test so far is.
Downstream 794 Kbps (99.3 KB/sec) 857 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 236 Kbps (29.5 KB/sec) 254 Kbps (inc. overheads)
The upstream is pretty consistent, so I doubt I shall get any better, but the down stream dips as low as 500ish Kbps.
Cheers guys.
