Can you suggest software that would search my hard drive and report if there are duplicate programs or files and give me an option to delete the duplicate?

Thanks!
I see there's a 30-day free trial. I don't suppose you happen to remember if there are any limitations during this 30-day period?

As I recall, it's fully functional for those 30 days

No problem
Think it was ~1.5yrs ago I found that when we were doing server moves at my old job. Made moving shares and making sure we got everything a lot easier. Using that to compare and Robocopy to move with their correct security is a great combo.
damn, sometimes I almost seem smart heh

Rob I'll give your program a try to see if it does what I need it to do.
I purchased DirSync and it works very well.
Here is a to

Some info. on the program...
Features of DirSync: (1) Run as service (2) Job scheduling (3) Bi-directional sync (4) Simulation mode (5) Dynamic running info and detailed log info (6) Support path variables (7) Multiple filter types: include/exclude files, exclude folders, date, size, attributes (8) Support CRC32 comparison and validation (9) Use intermediate file while copying (10) Command line parameters (11) Thread priority (12) Error handling mechanism

This one looks good too. You can tell it to find duplicate files and it will search wherever you specify, no need to compare directories. Thanks!

tHANKS, Noevo. I downloaded Beyond Compare and was able to view and compare and delete all of the duped files. Although I'm finish, I'm going to buy it anyway to encourage continued development like this. So many "trial" programs are not complete but Beyond Compare gives the trial of the full version for 30 days. This is really good business and should be supported.
Thanks for your help.
