Hi bravehao and welcome to the SG forums. Hope you enjoy your stay. :D

Some comp mags with disks attached carry updates but they are usually so far behind it's not worth it.
Nothing for it, you are just going to have to get it on the net.

The problem with disk defs for an AV program is there is usually only 1 a month. That's just not often enough IMO.
But, if you are not on the net and are careful what you stick into the CDRom/ floppy drive then you'll probably not have too many problems.

it sounds reasonable...but if there is one offline update in 15 days i suppose it is better..

His reply back was they do not support that feature. You can setup a "Mirror" server on a machine that has internet access, and copy the defs over to the machines that don't via disk.

Realizing this is kind of a pain, as they often have several updates per day.

Yeah, I haven't run across this situation in a long loooong time, so it didn't really hit me that they don't have a manual definition update site. Pretty much everyone I support has an internet connection, and the autoupdate features checks every how...so manual definition updates isn't something the crosses my mind anymore.
