Ken my Leafs never got out of the Gate tonight. Quinn allowed them yesterday off at the Golf Course and Fishing they say. Figures. They had no legs at all.

They will be flying tomorrow though i Guarantee

I am the same. I hate to bother Celebrities when met. Over the years in my travels i have shared Elevators with the Russian hockey team complete with Vladislav Tretiak while in Quebec in the 70's, run into Phil Esposito so many times he thought i was a Hockey Journalist, Met Frank Mahovlich & most of the old Toronto Cup Winners at a Toronto Golf Course, Turk Broda at a Bar and many others. i usually just say Hi, or Thanks for the Fun.

You hate to burden Them with asking for them to sign something.

Yeah Larry, them Panthers whipped up on them last night.
We went to the movie "Passion.." last night, so I only saw highlights. (I would have rather seen the games on TV than watch 2 hours of them brutally whipping Christ...)

Anyway, we took care of the Thrashers!

Both teams are coming from games last night. Historically, we do not do well on the 2nd game in a row like this. And with the Leafs pissed from getting beat last night, I expect your guys to prevail tonight, but I am not giving up hope!

i'm with you on the Movie thing Ken. When Someone is Crucified and Nailed to a Cross after having been Flogged and forced to carry a Heavy Wooden Cross to get to that point, i do not feel it necessary for me to see a Graphic 2hr. depiction of it to have a good understanding about what took place.

Common sense would indicate to me it was Brutal & the Man having Enormous Faith & Strength to allow Himself to go through such tribulations to show His Love for Us is self evident to me at least.

Do i need to be moved by a Gross depiction of these events to be a better & more religious and caring person...i think not.

I am a Catholic, who accepted these Teachings as a boy & will remain so for as long as i live. Nuff said.

As to the Hockey Wars ahead, who knows what my beloved Leafs will come up with. Belfour will be back and possibly Roberts, which bode well for the Team and having 24hrs. of reliving the embarrassment of the night before hopefully they will be Charged and Ready at the opening Faceoff.

No Luck involved Ken. The Lightning came ready to Play and out worked the Leafs at every turn. They had Fantastic Goaltending to help bolster their Play, along with a Great Team effort imho.

They Deserved The Win


There are always excuses like our Goalie, blah, blah, blah!

Truth is we had the Same Number of Players on the bench as your Guys. They Played better, simple as that imho.

We were on a roll, but have been suffering the last few games. Still tops in the East, and 2 points behind Noevos RedWings (Phew! It sure does stink being behind those guys! What do they feed them, beans, eggs and beer???)

Hopefully our guys will have their act together (and not look up at the banners in the rafters and get scared!)

3 1/2 away from a Leaf Payday Eh!

Should be a Dandy Ken. Ma's all set to go and i have my Oh'Henry and Diet Pepsi standing by as well. Sunny and cool today with a touch of snow, ideal Hockey Weather for the Game.

Tough last 6 Game schedule facing the Leafs, with twice having to Play the Sens as well. Looking forward to it Ken.

Well my Leafs have sunk to a new Low tonight. I am sitting waiting for the Game and nothing happens. No Game!

A Window pops up to tell me that the Leafs have Blacked Out the Game in Eastern Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes.

I call Bell Express VU only to be informed this was a Leafs Management decision and they are Promoting Their Own Pay for TV Network now.

They pick this time of year with Playoffs looming and without Warning pull this Stunt. F**** Them.

Unless something drastic takes place by tomorrow they have just lost a Fan. I refuse to be Blackmailed into something.

The Rage that will be hitting the Papers and TV Stations over this will be something to behold come morning. The poor Girl at Bell saisd she's swamped with Irate Customers.

Greed is a sad thing imho.

I am amazed no one is complaining. I will pursue it with Bell to find out what is happening.

The TSN Station here showed the Sens Game and nothing on the TSN Channel that the Leafs are normally on except the Blackout Notice.

I didn't miss much i guess, but it still ticked me off no end.
