Nude photo of Mayor

HOUSTON, B.C. -- The mayor of this northern B.C. mill town has nothing to hide -- even if she wanted to. Photographs of a smiling Sharon Smith wearing nothing but her chain of office were allegedly stolen off her home computer and copies are now circulating around this town of 4,300.

One of the photos taken by her husband shows her seated naked with the mayor's medallion around her neck.

In a letter to the local weekly paper, Houston Today, Smith said she was hurt and embarrassed by the public display of the photos. She said her privacy had been violated. "These photos are private property, belonging to my husband and me."

Smith, 48, told the Vancouver Province in an interview that while she did not intend to disgrace the mayor's office, she has no plans to resign.

The photographs were reportedly stolen during a house party thrown by the Smith's three sons.

Media reports said a guest allegedly burned a CD of the photographs and circulated them.

The Smiths are reportedly seeking legal advice. In her letter to the paper, she noted the photographs are stolen property and anyone who knowingly possesses them is breaking the law.

The RCMP confirmed that police are investigating a theft from the Smith home last month.

I saw a brief mention on CNN the other day.

I don't know about Trouble, but i bet he's got Cult Status for Life

I've asked my Pal Terry who lives out west to see if he can obtain the Photo so i can see what all the Fuzz is about

Oh heck yeah!

Those were private photos and from the description, not all that damning. Shouldn't be a big fuss except for kicking a couple son's behinds along with their little entrepreneurial friend.
