Wouldn't that imply that you've tasted shit?
*Wishes to cease this line of questioning before hearing something I'd regret*

Redbull is pretty shitty.. bawlz is better but, does it count as the same type of drink? Redbull is like an energy drink... bawlz is more of a caffeine trip.

Does anyone know where red bull comes from? I got the impression its an old asian thing, because in thailand they sell these old 50's style bottles of it cheap, the same logo but older looking. In the foreigner district they have the american version with the same logo, but sort of modernized and trendier looking.

Red BUll has been around in Europe (germany specifially) for a long time..
around 96 is when it came out maybe??
<edit>
from RedBull Website..
In 1982, Dietrich Mateschitz became aware of products called "tonic drinks", which enjoyed wide popularity in Asia, and got - while sitting in the bar at the Mandarin Hotel in Hong Kong - the idea of marketing those functional drinks outside Asia.
In 1984, Mateschitz founded the company Red Bull GmbH. He fine-tuned the product, developed a unique marketing concept and started selling Red Bull Energy Drink on the Austrian market in 1987. Red Bull got off the ground in no time flat, giving people wings right from the start. In 1992, Red Bull touched down in its first foreign market, in Hungary. Today, Red Bull is energizing over 70 countries around the globe
More than a billion cans of Red Bull are consumed each year. Responsibility for the unparalleled success of the world's No. 1 energy drink is shared by the company's 1,500 employees, of whom around 200 work at Red Bull Headquarters in Fuschl am See (pop. 1,344), not far from Salzburg/Austria.
Red Bull is much more than a soft drink - it is an energy drink. It was made for moments of increased physical and mental stress and improves endurance, alertness, concentration and reaction speed. In short: it vitalizes body and mind. The effectiveness of Red Bull Energy Drink has been proven by alarge number of scientific studies and is appreciated by many of the world's top athletes and drivers, opinion-leaders and hard-working people with active lifestyles.

Well waddaya know, we were both kind of right. Theres lots of them out here, but since I can't read thai yet i just get the one with the logo I know. A lot of people in japan talked about it but its not legal there (they didn't even have
birth control pills until recently, sheesh), so I couldn't try it.
I like it, I do feel more alert when I take it. Coffe energizes you in the morning; red bull like, pistol-whips you into conciousness.
Is it true people die when they mix it with alcohol?

I just threw that yr out there..
and after reading this it prolly came out way earlier in germany even, being that it is from Austria, anyways..
never did try it back then will have to now....

Id drink redbull every morning if i could but its like 2 -3 bucks a can so i cant afford it.
i think its kind of an aquired taste, like beer or coffee..
when u first taste it, its weird cuz theres nothing really that tastes like it, once u get used to it its the shiznit. coffee kinda makes me jittery in the morning where i get really hyper then really tired. so i try not to drink it too much, but redbull kinda gives a little effect without all the negetives i get from coffee..
and so darn tatsteeeeeeee

2 or 3 bucks?! Thats nuts! Its like 25 cents here, which is the same price as an ordinary pop, maybe a bit less.
I think it tastes like cough syrup, myself. "It tastes awful because it works..."

yeah, I paid like $1.99 at a Gas Station..
it prolly has about as much Red Bull in the can as a reg. can of coke if not a bit more..
although, I threw it away after the first couple of sips..
