hi steele. long time no see. i might be getting an alienware computer and i was wondering what you thought would be the best for networking. they have a "Integrated Intel Pro/1000 CT Gigabit Ethernet Adapter w/CSA " and an "IntelĀ® PRO/1000 MT Gigabit Desktop Adapter". now by integrated i assume that means it on the mobo. are the network adapters on mobos any good? if i get the desktop adapter will having an integrated version cause conflicts?? which would you suggest i get? thanks! :D

Integrated Networks adapters are fine. I have a Broadcom440 integrated on my ASUS P4PE and my pings are under 50ms most of the time. You shouldn't have any conflicts with adding a PCI NIC too, but if you are doing it to share an internet connection, I would suggest using a router instead of ICS.
