Ever hit the "F11" button when surfing?

If you've never tried F11, hit it.
It takes the QuickLaunch and Address bars off your screen and gives you that much more viewing room.
First time I saw that I was amazed I'd never known that before, especially years ago when I had a 15" monitor.
Just hit F11 again to bring the screen back to normal.
Maybe everyone here knew this already EXCEPT me, but thought I'd post it in case not.

Yeah, that's how I usually surf, it's called Theater Mode. The more I see when surfing the better. I dont have need for the status bgars up top. Also when in Theater Mode, enable the Auto Hide function on the bar uptop for even more viewing area.

It's not really news, but if Humboldt didn't know it, then maybe a few other SG'rs don't know about this useful little tip

AHH, this forum is reserved for ground breaking stuff only, eh?
If everyone already knows all this stuff, what's the point of the forum?
It WAS news to me, thank you very much. Hence my post.
Have a good day.

Geez, it tells you that in the View Menu/Fullscreen!
Most apps have their keyboard shortcuts listed in the menus.

That's like saying everyone reads their VCR manuals
I posted because it was new to me and I thought it might be new to others. I'm sure there's a ton of other stuff that some users take for granted but that's new to someone else.
Just trying to be helpful.

Well it's hard for me to remember every shortcut and key in every app. I'm in class for Windows 2000 MCSE, so my heads so full of computer stuff it gets all mixed together sometimes. A little reminder now and then is helpful.
