My SWEET Xaser II 6000 Plus Chassis/case!

Thermaltake Xaser II 6000 Plus Chassis with all the fixin's...

Abit KG7-RAID w/512MB Crucial PC2100 and XP1800 (thanks RoundEye). Two Maxtor 80GB's on the raid and two Maxtor 40GB HDD's for the OS and backup. ATI ALL in Wonder 7500 (with all the works). Promise FastTrak TX2000 Raid controller...totally optimized!

It may not be the newest one on the block but it's the sweetest one so far...

I'm dumping the 2/256 PC2100 for one 512MB PC2700, just because it will leave me some room for total optimization (and this board is so finicky).

Anyway, here's my ole fart machine with a new attitude...I'm happy and that's all that matters...really! :D

Enjoy!

Yeah Boy!!!

We be jammin' now! :2cool:

Looks great but we need some better pics of the inside.
I would also take the fan grills off of the power supply and heatsink. It'll help with the looks and air flow, and cut down on the noise a fraction of a db. :D

Can the two top hard drives be seperated by one more space or is the floppy in the way?
......and this board is so finicky......
Did you have a bunch of problems, is there anything I can help you with?

Thanks!

1) Yes, the floppy is in the way. Keep in mind that I have 5 cases fans, 3 PSU fans keeping my system very well cooled...and the noise down to a low purrrrrr. I also have 3 speeds to select from for the CPU fan, I like the 3K selection myself! :) I keep the filters on because of the furnace being on so much, can't never seem to rid my house of dust...I hate winter weather in Michigan! :(

2) I never did get the one stick of ram to work properly, the system can't pass any memory benchmarks when it's installed. It also crashes when any kind of stressful program is running. I have tried every configuration know to man with no luck...so I decided to upgrade to one stick of Crucial PC2700 512MB's which Crucial has approved for this board. After reading up, I found that one stick will reduce and compatibility issues and be the most optimal...makes sense to me!

3) I'll get some better pics later today when I'm done with my "Honey-Do" list.

Thanks again guys,

BMED

I really like that case MW, but i'm not too crazy about that giant Thermaltake logo in the front. If i were to get one, knowing me i'll find a way to remove it which will make the case look snazzier ;)
