Lo latency DSL

A few weeks ago I was helping a relative find a DSL provider in their area (Chicago N. burbs). I found an ISP which offered a special "gamers DSL" which promised extra short latency (shorter than their standard ADSL. Now I can't remember who they are, has anyone heard of such a DSL? Mind you I'm not talking about bandwidth.
Thanks,
David

The other possibility has to do with the interleave setting. Soome of the latency in DSL is intentionally induced to reduce the errors produced by impulse noise. I'm not sure, but I think it can amount to 30 ms or so, most of which can be eliminated by reducing the interleave.

That's more like it

I was hoping to get that kind of answer. I'm going to use my Earthlink DSL line (1250down/327up @15,000') for IP telephony. I haven't ordered the equipment yet and my concern was I would have 1/2 or 3/4 second of latency (that would make it sound more like a cell phone). The company I plan on using is Vonage. The are offering a free Cisco telephony adapter and unlimited U.S. domestic calls for $39.00/month.
Kip:
Where would I find the interleave setting?
What do you mean when you say "pulse noise" are you talking about AC interference on my phone line?
My phone line is ultra clean, only 6dbs @15,000 feet.

I'm not sure if
Cygeronic DSL is the ISP you are referring to. I personally don't know much about them but Dannjr says they are great. I do know that ALLOT of people are having major issues with Earthlink.

The interleave is controlled by the ISP.
