DSL Broadband Signal

Is there anyway for me to boost my DSL Broadband Signal? Or Can I call Verizon and ask them to test the lines, to make sure that I am getting maximum DSL Speed? I would like for them to repair the entire phone lines from my house to the central office.

Good Luck with your provider. SBC charges us $150.00 for inside wiring.
Common packages are (1) 768k downloads and 128k uploads
upgrades are (1) 1.5 m downloads and 256k uploades.
SBC- charges 29.95-39.95 for the first and 49.95-59.95 for the second.

It's highly unlikely, and by highly unlikely, I mean almost zero chance that the lines will be replaced from your house to the CO. Unless they completely don't work.
For one, Verizon probably doesn't own the actual copper lines that run from the CO.
Two, depending on how far away from the CO you are it is probably not one wire but several wires connected at terminals or junction boxes. This was done to simplify the network and to avoid replacing thousands of feet of wire if it went bad.
Three, there is no reason for them to eat the cost of replacing lines for a single DSL user.
However, if you call frequently enough they might be able to send a tech out to check the levels at the boxes and make adjustments. That may improve your connection.

What are you getting up/down compared to the providers advertised caps for your service?
