from my event viewer:
"The system detected an address conflict for IP address 192.168.0.1 with the system having network hardware address 00:80:C8:E9:A5:45. Network operations on this system may be disrupted as a result."

You could simply enforce policies on the network to disable the changing of ip addresses from users on the network.

u running win xp? go to security policies under the admin tools, and acess the user rights area, make sure someone else hasnt breached your security and are given rights, sounds like someone is using your remote acess conn, turn off guest services etc and about 5 diff other ones, but if u are are going to use your comp as a server, then under win xp, u prob are going to have to turn em on, which server prog u have? win 2000 server or sql, or small business server?
