Impulse buying is BAD but I did it anyway...

I went out shopping w/wife and kids today for Christmas and I guess I really got into the "spirit" of things and bought this thing:

Yamaha CRW-F1ZEN 44x24x44 (Black)
CLICK HERE FOR PIC from newegg

Just now compared prices to newegg.com and I think I did ok. Newegg is charging $139USD w/o shipping (which is probly another $20USD for me anyway). I only paid $149USD from a local store here in Europe along with Drive Image2002 to backup RAID system & UT2003 to kick my frenz butt. So I dished out a good $275USD total on the CC, THEN here comes the wife (we got seperated in the store) around the corner telling me, "Oh, I charged $275 on the CC for the gifts, btw" (???!!!!)*That'z approx. $600USD Total!!*   :(

So I just shelled out enough cash TOTAL for another "barebonez" rig or two - well there goes some of the cash for the "8th Gen AMD RIG" in the first Qtr - because tomorrow I'm supposed to shell out $1800.00 for my Belgium Entertainment Center down in St. Vithe, Belgium.
SOMEBODY SHOOT ME!!!

Sorry, I had to confide in someone here at SG, thanx for "listening" though, I feel better now.

But does anyone have anything good to say about my Yamaha CRW-F1ZEN? (please say yes) I hope it helps load Soldier Of Fortune II - Double Helix a little faster.

***EDIT: Links above now fixed; originally said "No more picture", but it's there now***

The F1 is quite possibly the most kick ass burner on the market right now.

Take happiness in the fact that I need the SCSI version, which is $230

yeah about a year ago i was at compusa just walking around and putting my finger prints on everything like i usually do.

then i got around to the monitor section smudging my name on the screens with my finger and i just decided to buy a new monitor, dropped about 4 bills.

got home, unpacked it, took a look at it for a few minutes, and then took it back.
