Ok, EA' is going to stream it live from his connection??? Ok, then you will be recording it with your video camera for us to see later. How about you not streaming it and just post a big ass video file? That would solve your streaming deal. I would download the big file too watch. I have no problem with that.

Ah! I know what I'm going to send. It's something every couple really needs and I bet it never occurred to you to list it in the registry. I'm sure you'll use and enjoy it every single day for many years to come.
It's in it's original unopened, sealed box complete with warranty card.

I'm always working on different things, but at almost any given time, I'll have a good 2+ hours worth of space for some really high quality stuff. What're you recording with? If you wanted, you could send me the tape, I'd capture it, and then upload or burn and send it to someone to serve it.

well if you need the help of converting it from vhs to divx or mpeg, here I step in :D ! Other then doing it to help out EA and Kitten (Congrats on the whole shebang! I thought you'd already married Kitten, but had I know, I would have bamboozled her and married you for myselff EA hehe KAKAK j/k.)

Anyways, the main thing here is you need to capture the vhs video to raw AVI and then convert from raw AVI to divx or whatever. The main problem is capturing, if you want to not lose any frame, got for a lower resolution, like 352X200. But if you wanted to the best res, try for 640X400 with 29.9fps.

If you need more help

with this stuff, I'd be more then glad to explain and if you need more then that, you need only say the word.

I will be recording the wedding with my own HD8 video recorder. Has Digital EIS Stablization, 26x optical zoom, 300x digital zoom. I will then stream this at 640x480 throughout the day from my own broadband connection at home (384 upload, which is about 45k/s)until everybody has seen it.

this is going to be a true speedguide wedding...
I am glad i can help
The wedding's on a sunday, right?

The lab I work at has some rediculous upload (12+ mbit) on weekends, so if there's a way for me to get a dedicated strem from MMC, then I can rebroadcast it-- using MMC's math, I can then probably handle 50-60+ viewers.

N/p y'all. Figured EA would enjoy em, and give kitten some needed quiet time ;) . I'm eagerly awaitin the webcam footage, I say someone captures it and up's it SG server, that way we all can view it, granted not real time, but see it still. Vids of the honeymoon would be nice too....maybe make some shorts for yer burdgeoning porn career EA. :D

I have thought about it and i dont think im going to stream it live, because EA's line can only support 3 viewers at one time.. i dont think it will be worth it go thru all the trouble of getting it setup just for 3 people... not to mention that the camera makes everything look far away... it would just not be reasonable.

sorry about the three people that wanted a chance to watch the live stream.. but i will still record it and stream it to everybody taht wants to watch it

that actually is a great idea prey.... how about instead of me recording it and then streaming it one by one to each other... i just make copies of the tape, and send htem to people?

how much would it cost to make one copy and ship one casset tape?

Actually, I wouldn't make multiple tapes. I'd make a DivX out of it, so it's just one CD. Which is MUCH easier to multiply if you have a decent burner. Besides, I don't have a working VCR, but all of us have pcs that are capable of playing DivX...

just an idea...

Cheers,
Ronald

Wouldn't do me any good, since I don't have a VCR to begin with, and even if I did, it would be a PAL one, not NTSC :(

lol, I knew you were in a "PAL-ZONE" and that's half the reason I posted... but I do think VCD's would be thae best idea..

and once again, the monday after, if I get a copy, maybe d'loaded from MMC, I can use the lab where I work as an upload for the rest of you with broadband enough... Should have a windows streaming media server up and runing by then
