Hi jz82 & 9mmprincess
Well your butts are hanging out for all to see now.
We'll just have to wait to see how we all fare on this Series. Starts tonight at 7pm here for the Sens vs Sabres.
Should be a good one.

Thanks and have fun watching

This game is crazy. Can't say I like Buffalo's chances if the series is a high scoring affair.

Well, were doing fine so far. And in my opinion, if it wasn’t for the stupid penalties (esp the 5 on 3) we could be up right now.

Ottawa vs Sabres
What a joke. Bettman must be all moist seeing this debacle. He finally has Basketball on Ice.
Going to take 13 Goals to decide a Playoff Game & Overtime to boot.
Tune me out..

Def not the type of game I expected, but Buffalo needed one of the first two games to gain home ice advantage and they got it.
This is the type of game that really tests a team, it will be interesting to see how Ottawa reacts.

Buffalo 2-0 in the series

Ducks and Sabres up 2-0.

Of course anything can happen, but I don't see either of those teams losing 4 of 5.
The Devils went up 2-1 21 seconds to go and the Hurricanes tied it 2-2 with 3 seconds left in the game.

This is a must win for the Devils.

Up 2-0 in three series, down 2-0 in one series.
Devils needed that game, they haven't displayed the offense necessary to overcome such a deficit.

Sharks kicked ass tonight, they're playing so good lately, and Toscala is amazing. Sharks up 2-0 in the series, next game weds.

The Sharks and Ducks were the teams I felt very strongly about. The Avs are looking feeble, but the Oilers could still make this a series, they're a pain to put away.
Buffalo needs to play better, too many times tonight they were beat on the boards and had trouble getting the puck out. Still like their chances, especially with 3 of the 5 games at home and Miller recovering well.

Ducks win 4-3 in OT, Lupul with all 4 goals.
If they keep playing like this, I'll pick them to win the cup.

All of the series' are going weird

Not all, just the Canes/Devils series.
Devils had won something like 15 games in a row between the regular season and round one, now they're on the verge of getting swept with Brodeur in net.

3 Teams trailing 3-0 in a series is not weird? (especially given the teams that are trailing - Devils, Avalanche, Sens) an another that is 2-0 ... could be 3-0 (depends)
All of the series where the teams are down 3-0 should be way closer ... but they aren't. Very far fetched to say only the NJ series is going weird...

Well, I guess what I'm saying is I expected the other teams that are up to be up, but not the manner in which they are.

Canes Devils Game 2 was a burner. NJ "should" have won that game. They were the better team for 2 periods, scored with less than 30 seconds left to take the lead and then allowed an empty net goal with 3 seconds left...
OT was a fluke goal by the canes but it was legit.
With the percentages for game 2 wins and series, I think that demorilized NJ badly and I don't know if they have the heart to mount a comeback.
Pride might put the series back in Raleigh but I think this one might be over unless NJ finds some pride and a little luck.
Go Canes!

I'm happy for Carolina, i wanted them to win
annoyed we lost against Edmonton Weds, but oh well, **** happens. We will come back and beat them in the next game, and the next. Then we'll go make a lunch of the Ducks

meh. did anyone watch tonights Sharks/Oilers game? i can't believe Toscala's colossal mistake :/ i don't know what he was thinking, going waaaaay out of the net like that. However, he's a brilliant goalie, everyone makes mistakes, and the loss wasn't all his fault.
i really didn't want this to go to seven games

What was up with the San Jose crowd booing the Canadian National Anthem? Glad Edminton handed them their asses for that.

argghh what is going on with the Sharks? two great games and it's like we forgot how to score against them or something. Their penalty kill is great, and our power play against them is atrocious. i hope Wilson starts Nabby next game and not Toscala-i don't know what's wrong with Tosc but he's not playing very well. i'll be heartbroken if we're eliminated-i had such high hopes this year
didn't catch the crowd booing the Canadian anthem-if they did that's really lame-i don't agree with that at all. i think usually SJ fans are pretty cool-they always applaud when an opposing team's player has been down and gets up and off the ice under his own power-iv'e seen a lot of games in other arenas where the crowd doesn't even bother to applaud the guy if he's not from the home team. But yeah, SJ crowds aren't perfect.
i guess it all comes down to next game. maybe we need the desparation of being on the verge of elimination to play decently :/

I'm not sure what's going on with the Sharks, but the Oilers are a good team and they deserve to be up in the series right now.
I don't want to jinx anything, but can you guys imagine an Edmonton/Buffalo finals?

Carolina better play their best if they want a chance to beat Buffalo. I was watching a Canadian channel today, and they were saying the Carolina goalie is not too good. And that he just was not tested by NJ. Guess we will have to see.
