Just got done playing with some of the jets. I was fearing a frame rate drop while in them. However it actually kicked up to 100FPS ! Seeing as how i only need 60 frames to be comfy in the jet i think im gonna toy with the settings a bit and give more detail. I can deal with 30-40 frames while running around but need 60 while flying. Gonna try to find the sweet spot in graphics....

So far the jets seem CRAZY fast especially down low (and upside down!)

Controls to the Helos seems dumbed down since BFV, almost too easy. Way to easy to hover now. Its like auto or something. Nice to have alt and speed finally, and the ceiling is way higher now!

Oh yeah i highjacked the JSF off the carrier and the enemy saw me in it so he layed down some mines in my path....just decided to go straight up instead! hehehe pretty kewl

is the game loaded on the server yet??

Can someone explain the missles on the jets/copters? I aim at something, shoot a missle, and shoots up and never hits close???

I uploaded it to the sg site a couple hours ago. I'm sure most of you guys already got it.

well it seems they all have heat target systems so you pretty much have to have the target in sites or that big circle for a few seconds for the missle lock system to lock on to the target then fire. Even still its not 100% you will hit it cause as soon as you get missle lock the other guy hears a buzzing and is trying to shake ya.

UOD or cat yall been able to get the server up yet and with the demo on it? Its fun to play but I'm really pissed at this time limit per round they give ya. And I can't use Butt(_|_)Man for my name?? or can I?? Cause I've tried and it wont' accept it as a account.

Then it clicked...when I last rebuilt my home server, I didn't enable Disk Quotas, and I only had 350 megs left.

Almost done downloading it now.

Server is locked for some reason (hard locked, not responding to anything), probably won't be up again until Monday. I already sent UGS an e-mail, but doubt anyone is there on weekends.

so everyone play on dissedents.

OMG!!! this is the ****!!!! Now, I just need to figure out how to properly play it, LOL. Cant wait to get my first kill with the shock paddles!

Graphics are amazing and players absolutely flawless and silky smooth! Better be, main reason why I bought my new pc, haha.

I have a question.... Does anyone know where your screenshots are saved at? I took some pretty cool ones but now I can't find them. I looked in every directory of BF2 Demo and nothing.

Got demo! can't set the numpad arrows to presets! anyone else having this problem?

Regarding the number pad..never tried to set any keys myself, sorry can't help you out. But I would think it would work....Hmmmmmm.

man i envy you guy's, i have tried installing this demo 4 times, all know tweaks and still can not get to not crash to desktop at game load, guess i will have to wait for the real deal and cross my fingers.

Specs?

There are some posted causes of crashing. I don't want to insult your intelligence or anything but I assume you have read the readme and searched for causes in other forums?

My issue is artifacts from time to time when in game. They look similar to what would happen when ones video card gets too hot or exceeds an overclock limit. My specs are supported but I am still working on the "process of elimination" to find the cause...

i am looking for all ideas on this problem, maybe something on my end, probably is

i have read a bunch of threads and i am at the point where i will just wait for the real game, maybe then they will have it patched, no way i am reformating just for a demo

The UVA posting on this mark stuff is driving me nuts can't turn it off or keep it silent.. the GUY walking you through things that just shows up won't turn off. If not for the little things like that I'd be ok. I can't use my nickname

Overall the game is good.. I hope the problems above will go away once we get to the real game itself and not the demo since the names will become a issue with clans that user certain tags I'm sure.

I know exactly what your talking about! The damn voice that talks to you about what to do and crap. Atleast he only tell's you about the stuff once and then he's finished...unless you switch to a different name account, which I have two as of now for the two clans im a member of...DOH!
