Oh and getting back to the original question...

I am a firm believer in the idea we should (at least be able to) eat just about any part of an animal, heck in terms of human history we have only been picky about it for a short time. So going along with that, and being the day after Fear Factor ;) I was down at Humboldts place and he was cutting up some kind of dog treat. It was some "beef log", yep the brand he wanted to beat the old guy down with a few days ago. I saw that it was mainly parts, but I figure if they list the parts it is at least quaranteed to be just those parts compared to slaughterhouse scrapings. Well, I tried it. I had the taste of cow "organs" in my mouth for a good few hours. I never thought it would have that lingering taste that just never went away. Awful, just frickin awful.

I no longer just automatically think I would kick butt at Fear Factor eating contests. I know I do have limitations

If I were to eat dogfood everyday would there be enough vitamins to remain healthy?

I'm bored....lol
Not sure about the vitamins but you'd have a lovely coat :D

I seem to remember a story of a woman making meatloaf partially with dog food for her family and it almost killed them...the crude proteins in canned dog food are to harsh for the human digestive tract.

Yeah you know when buddies dare each other back in the junior high school days....dog food, dog biscuits, cat food, tablespoon of tabasco, tablespoon of butter, all sorts of weird stuff like that.

Caution about Iams brand Brembo...most vets don't like it (even though they may sell it at the counter)...it's considered a "hot" food.
