Personally I wouldn't be breaking over railroad tracks.Originally posted by erogic1

hmmm. Might stress them a bit. It could put some flat spots on the tires, though. Just remember that any time your wheels are locked you have no steering control so it would be best to just roll over the bumps.Originally posted by erogic1
ok now i have another question....
is it ok to hold on the brakes while going over a set of train tracks or speed bumps??
my dad says it can ruin the brakes....is this true?
thz
Don't tell him so. Let him have his way. No sense in starting an argument about a minor point. Just roll over the bumps anyway.Originally posted by erogic1

That's the way. Look down the road, anticipate any obstacles, and adjust your speed accordingly.Originally posted by AAF Striker
How about brake enough before the tracks so you don't hit the tracks too hard and just roll over them and don't keep the brake down....

I don't doubt that you have a lot of wrecks per week. I know some places like that. What I doubt is that most of them are fatality's, like you said. If there was quite a few, the school, and/or the lawmakers would put up some sort of stop light, or they would have police waiting outside to watch.Originally posted by CiscoCert
You want me to setup my computer outside and stream the action from the kids across the street?
