"I would prefer if I could remove a few of the panes and put then above the browser window and watch them as I surf like I can do with net medic. "
You can rmove the other panes and only have the one you want, it looks slightly like net.medic and works well with higher resolutions.

If I see something I think people might like I post it as this might be the only forum they hang around, it may not make you go faster but it does tell you how fast you are going :)

This may not help but it may, also OS CPU size and RAM, and do you have Cablenuts adjuster :)

Are you from another country, what are your speed CAPS form your ISP, if you don't know, call them and ask and no tweak will get you above your CAP :)

well i'm from the netherlands. and i don't know exactly what my cap is. i think about 15 kb upload and 500 kb download

maybe this helps

Browser/OS = Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows 98; Win 9x 4.90; AtHomeNL191)

TCP options string = 020405b4

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which is equal to MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 49152
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 49152
For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 1966.08 kbps (245.76 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 786.432 kbps (98.304 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = OFF

Time to live left = 47 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = OFF

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

No I think you are happy and satisfied, you posted where everyone should get this quest patch so I believe you should be happy, think of all the thousands of people who downloaded that Quest thing, yes it made you faster, you had RWIN of 49152, anything above that would make you faster, enjoy :)
