One of my all-time favorite movies, I typically watch it once or twice per year.

Never gets old.

I think most movie critics are pretty terrible, lost in their own world. But stuff like rotten tomatoes audience ratings are handy.

Columbus Circle 2012. Movies has lots of good twists. Available to stream on netflix. Some parts are slow but they have to be in this story line.

I'll second that one too....it's a chick flick...my wife loves it and got me into it, and I'll man up and say my eyes water up with tears every time I watch it.
Couple of other good Nicholas Sparks movies....."A Walk to Remember" is another tear jerker.

Stallone and Schwarzenegger, Vinnie Jones. Better than I thought it'd be, worth checking out.

Walking Tall, The Rock.

Better than I thought, though not by much.

Seemed like a RoadHouse remake to me :D
All it was missing was the line, "Pain don't hurt"

Sleepers

Starring Brad Renfro, Brad Pitt, Robert De Niro, Kevin Bacon, Dustin Hoffman
Based on a true story chronicled by Lorenzo Carcaterra in his novel of the same name, though this has been challenged by some.

Dark but well acted movie and one i hadn't seen in some years but watched again and thoroughly enjoyed. Good movie. :thumb:

Fantastic yes, just depressing as sh*t. Not like Django w/ the happy ending, this movie just starts dark, stays dark, ends dark.

Would still recommend it to anyone.

I agree and it was depressing but still a fantastic movie. In my eyes all races are equal. IDC if you are white, yellow, black , pink, orange or blue... people are people. Treat all the same wether it is race, man or women or ages.

Taking Chance

Not sure if this one has been mentioned but it should be. It is a wonderful portrayal of a Marine lost in battle and being processed through the military system prior to and about his final resting place. It revolves around Lieutenant Colonel Michael Strobl (USMC) who has been given the honour of accompanying the fallen home.Wonderfully potrayed imho :thumb: Kevin Bacon is terrific in this role.
