I don't know about other cities, but New Orleans is going nuts. They tightened security around the Superdome, called in the National Guard.

We have the command center here for the National Strategic Oil Reserve. All of the data for all of the Military's Branches is backed-up to a new facility they just built here. They are shutting down a lot of the oil rigs from what I hear. Also tightening security on the Mississippi river and our river ports.

This is crazy, I'm in total shock as to what just happened to our country.

I just saw the video of the tower falling down. Thinking of all the people inside and seeing the way it went down on itself I want to cry.

just liquidate bin Ladin and his followers. no need to kill everybody in Palestine.

BTW they are chanting and singing and giving away candy on the West Bank in celebration of the attacks.

Besides bombing ands going to war the most powerful hurtful thing we could do besides war would be to stop and cease all trade and airflights...exports and inports with countries surrounding the possible area of the bombers which is the middle east. Let them fend for themselves. the US has its own problems. Let the rest of the world be in financial troubles or poverity etc. When they stop yelling at the USA theyll eventually come crying back to us for help with open arms. We might be sarcastic snotty stuck up people as a nation but we are the most powerful nation in the world and we do have the money. Im sure wed find an alliance in canada and England as well as Swizterland, British isles and a few others

I live in a backwoods university town... Tucson, AZ... didn't hear about this until my roomate's mom called as said to turn on the TV. wow. unbeleiveable.

how sad. i couldnt believe it. woke up to all this on the news. then i immediatly thought about prey so i had to turn on the computer to make sure everyone was okay.

I would think that would be the best thing to do if they are confirmed as hijacked.

Tough decision, but I think it's the best one considering the loss of life if these planes make their targets.

I hope we find the ones responsible, but war is not what I want to see.

havent heard of the shooting down of passenger planes, but the 4 hijackings have been confirmed by the airlines themselves. pretty sure they were American Ailines liners that took out the Twin Towers. can remember what airline's plane crashed into the Pentagon.

Right now if you live east coast USA the NJ turnpike Nj parkway and the Delaware Memorial Bridge is shut down. There is no access from or to them.
Also I have been told and its confirmed there was a airplane in NY taking off that didnt answer its raido. Americans thought it might have bene hijacked. It was filled with old peopoe. sad to say because they didnt answer we killed that plane . The plane now they say wasnt hijacked and we killed our own people. Im still checking more info.

Also they say a plane went down in Virginia. Not sure where yet

Well, the Palestinians just denied doing it. Although they did say that U.S. was the head of the snake, and it needs to be cut off..
